pat testing abroad

Hi Guys

Can someone please tell me if pat testing has to be done accross europe, as i pat test here alot and is moving to germany in may 2012 and wanted to know how is it would be to test appliances out there. Looking for info on this subject, so if you know then please comment,, cheers

Unless the 1989 Electricity At Work Act has an equivalent in europe or Germany then I think you may be out of luck. While many of our laws are a result of EU directives I don't think this was one of them
