Plead for 2.5 sq mm stranded

For the older sparks, do you feel as I do, that the move years ago to do away with the equivalent of 7/.029 cable for ring final circuits was a bad move. I feel that 2.5 sq mm single stranded, is far too rigid for the purpose. Would love to hear the consensus of opinion from you all.

You won't find any sane person disagreeing with you on this one, ...you could also make an good argument for the 1.0 and 1.5mm conductors too.... lol!!!
