Slightly off topic, but around my way I keep being told by DNO guys and meter fitters that they won't fit isolators anymore - the reason being Part P. As they're 'right side' of meter it's therefore customers side which means it comes under Part P and the DNO/Meter agencies aren't P approved.
But back on topic - pull it, do it, put it back.

So far, I've not had a problem with Isolators being fitted. Eon do it for free, SSE do it for free, BG charge. Always get the customer to sort it and they've never been asked why.
