RCD Trip x1 test no reading

I've not said any thing before because of not understanding the full scope of the question

I was called to an office in a field today

Yes did a leakage test and a full periodic Ze,Zs,insulation resistance etc etc I found there was a break in the n instead of the live at the light switch so there was a a permanant live feed that with no earthing problem now solved.
