I'm wanting to switch a 24v boiler using 240v s plan system. I know I need to pass this through a relay but it's not a regular thing I do. Could anyone post relay type and a drawing please. Boilers 3 grand and don't want to blow it

You would need a 230V coil relay and just use this to switch the 24V supply.
So long as the coil does not supply the contacts as well then you are OK.

I would strongly recommend hireing an electrician to carry out the work for you. It sounds like a quick and simple job for someone who knows what they are doing, and as you have already suggested could be very costly if a mistake is made.

You seem to have a lot of trouble with boilers. Pay someone and know the job will be correct.
