Hi all, anybody have any info on whats happening as regards the 2330? I am currently doing this course at wakefield college but i understand its being replaced with somthing else and i am just hoping the old qual will still be recognised, also with this new course as far as i know you have to have an apprenteship/get a placement with an employer from day one. Is this true?
Any advice would be welcome.

Your 2330 will still be recognised, its just an alteration to the course title and some contents,a lot of us on here have the old 2360 which i was told was slightly more difficult in that none of the exams were multiple choice, your certs will always be valid so you can rest easy i think.

Hi robsparky, just been on the phone with a chap who i did the 17th and 2392 with who thinks the same as you. I am trying to get work with an experieced spark but theres not much happening at the moment. Still, the chap on the phone recons I could go down the domestic installer route with what ive got whilst continuing at college until things pick up hopefully then I will get a job with an experieced spark for my nvq.
Whats your thoughts on this idea?
