What is the philosophy of star connection? If there is some physical connection between any of three phases then we have a short circuit. But on star point, the same phases are connected at the single point & we don't face any short circuit? Please explain

it's basically the same as with single phase. you have the line sitting at 230wrt the star point (neutral)and a load across them. the current flows through the load according to ohms law. I=V/R. if you short L/N or phase/star point. you will get a short circuit current.
