UK under cabinet lights question

So picuture under cabinet lights, a 230 supply from a spur, to a LED tamlite driver, and 2 lights coming off of this... why is it that one of the lamps fails weekly and the other one has been going strong for over a year..

If the first picture is of the failing lamp, then there’s some rust on the fitting.
Is that where the kettle sits? The steam is maybe affecting it.

also that driver is 20-60watts. seems a high rating for LEDs. and what's with the fur coat?

well spotted.
Its a transformer, not an LED driver.

As above. That 'transformer' is a power supply designed for halogen lights.
You'll need either an LED driver - compatible with the LED lamps - or dump the lot and install a 230v LED system.
