This is the second set which won't work to replace the current spots here in my kitchen. All they do is flash once quickly. I'm replacing standard older halogen and wanted to use LEDs but for some reason this is still happening.
I've looked above the kitchen unit and can see a transformer? Is it this which isn't correct?

These are the spots I purchased:

MR16 LED Light Bulbs, GU5.3

Thanks for any light anyone can shed please 🙏

You'll in all liklihood need a transformer/driver specifically for LEDs. Not every LED is compatible with "old" halogen transformers

As above, your 'transformer' label states 10-60Watts the 5W LED lamps are below the minimum rating and it is likely then shutting down. Even with a higher load there is no guarantee that the LEDs will work with the old halogen supply as the output is a rough high frequency AC. We wouldn't even bother to try it at work, would just replace it with a power supply suitable for the new LED lamps.

The spec. says that these lamps require a supply of 12V AC or DC, if you have several lights grouped together it is likely you will only need one supply for the group.
This model for example will supply up to 2 of your bulbs
and
This model will supply up to 6 of your bulbs.
