SWA v meter tails

Hi Guys,
Advice needed on best way to wire a sub CU which is 4.5m away from main CU and meter. The wires will be running under floor boards

Options:

2 x 25mm2 meter tails and 1x 16mm2 earth - metal or plastic conduit?

or

2 core 25mm2 SWA armoured cable with 16mm2 earth with or without conduit?

Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks

PS: not intending to do any wiring just laying the cable.

Who is connecting it up and what's their thoughts on it as if it was me asking someone to lay some cable for a purpose, I would rather like a say in what it has to be.

Personally I would 3 core SWA 25mm2, how is it being terminated both ends?

Hi mate can i ask why you would want to run in a 2 core armoured with separate earth and not just run in a 3 core???
Or is this what the sparky wants you to do

2 core and seperate Earth will a lot cheaper option, surely being sparks you already knew this?

It really depends on other factors as to the best method,how much space is there under the floor? What kind of termination arrangements are taking place? etc...etc

As Murdoch suggested. Presumably you are involving an electrician who will be doing the connections as you are not....so ask him/her...(p/c moment) what he/she wants.
