I don't understand why you would quote what is written on the fuse carrier it could contain anything.

I'm in the "what's on the carrier goes on the form" camp but see the the other paint of view.

be gone with your sense, I'm keeping on guessing.So, how about cutting off the locks, looking at the OCP and then crimping on some more locks after reinserting said fuse?
Why cut off the head?might say 80A BS 1361 on the carrier, but for all we know it could be a 3" nail with the head cut off inside.
tried it with the head on. nail was 1" too long to fit.Why cut off the head?
