Quick thought, Would an extension to an existing system even be covered under the EPC rules?

Had a quick read and it only seems to be for new applications? Might be a market here :)

I don't think so. Extensions are now treated as separate systems in their own right (other than adding the total capacity of all parts to get the TIC for the extension) and the tariff that applies to them is determined by the current rules for a new installation - including the need for an EPC 'D' after April 1st.

Dam, that's that idea out of the window then :( Thanks Ted:)

I called BG about this one yesterday to ask the procedure for registering it.

They told me to just update the MCS cert and pop it over on an email- no FIT form needed
