gotta look at a big extension tomorrow, approx doubling size of the house.
anybody know the percentage of energy saving fittings has to be fitted??

just about to trawl through the ADl1A and ADL1B doc but thought i would ask incase anybody knows off the top of their head.

I understand it to be 75% now.
This came up in my assessment, I was asked the same question, I said I'd have to look at the Building Regs, he said it wouldn't be in there as it was amended in October, and I had the old copy.

Alan.

It is 75% in new installations but the good thing is you can fit BC or ES lamp holders and just use energy saving lamps in them.

They are still torch lights to me mate. Though Nickkiblake did send me a link for some LED types and a mate of mine showed them to a client and he was most impressed with them, as my mate is an old dinosaur like me and think normal downlighters are torch lights, that's impressed me and I may have to have a rethink about them.

So I may be suprised.
