Chint boards

Has anybody used a chint 3 ph board? For the size I need it comes in about £50 cheaper than a Hager. I've used the single phase ones years ago and they were gash!! This is the first job for a new customer so I don't want to be fitting rubbish and I'm a bit of a brand snob but if the chint is any use I might go for it!

In my days with the old firm, we had a saying: 'What a load of old Chint'.

Wouldn't touch chint for three phase I always use Schneider unless specified otherwise. Go for the best make possible especially if you want to impress

That's my thinking but I wasn't sure if their 3ph stuff was any better?

I've used them before on single phase and they are not that bad compared to some of the other stuff you see knocking about.

I prefer Schneider/Hager stuff though, especially for 3P installs.

have used 1 once. but with all single phase circuits, using RCBOs. the RCBO securing clip is on the wrong side, so impossible to align them correctly.

Crap everything. Only one worse DB out there and that is Proteus.

Chint/Proteus = Chinese crap. You can't even rip the terminals up to much in case they shear lol. Suppose you get what you pay for.
