Thanks for all the praise. Now all rewired with cables going straight up the wall instead of diagonally and neatly capped waiting for the plasterer to re plaster the whole wall (had to take a lot more off to sort it out)

Yes worked perfectly, only when you come to test it and realise three circuits are linked together and it's oh so wrong!
