Cooper Menvier 9651 security alarm makes humming noise

Our Cooper Menvier is only 4 years old and had its battery replaced because it periodically makes a loud humming noise that goes on for up to 40 minutes before stopping. It does this every few days, sometimes for a few days running. We called out the supplier and they changed the battery 4 months ago because they couldn't find anything else wrong - they charged over £100 to do this. Now it's doing it again and they want £80 call out fee to come and look again! Can anyone help with what is wrong and what we can do please?

Same as above it's just the transformer nothing wrong

How loud is the hum? Is it coming from inside the alarm box? Does it keep you awake at night or is it only audible if you're up close?

It usually just needs the mounting screws tightening up on the transformer.Harmonic vibration.Had this many times on alarm panels.If the hum doesn't stop when the screws are tightened then it might need a new transformer but i'll place money that doing the screws up with cure it.
