If you change a CU and notice the bathroom extractor fan has No isolator, Just directly fed off the light, Would you put this in the box "Details of departures from BS7671 " Or would you only make a comment on this if you were filling out a PIR and not an EIC?

You're giving a certificate for work you have carried out.

Unless you are working to a higher standard than our regs, may I suggest you don't have any departures on thus work carried out.

Existing works on the other hand, which you are reporting of, may have departures left right and centre.

Hope this helps. ;)
