Hi guys, with all the unplanned time I'm currently taking off Ive decided to do the fencing in the garden myself, anyone know a decent online shop for fencing materials? Going for wooden posts, arris rails and featheredge board, any replies much appreciated, cheers

If you can get it arranged I'd go for concrete posts. I did mine a decade ago with slotted concrete posts and they still look like new. Apart from the one that moved slightly when it got hit by a flying trampoline.
How do I attach a 6ft wooden gate to them though without drillng into them? I've just removed all the old concrete ones that were falling apart, also doing it alone and it'll be a bit back breaking!

Take the fence down and tell the neighbours youre having an "open plan" outside area.
Ha, that's basically where I'm at right now :tearsofjoy:

I cheated and kept wooden ones in place to mount the gate on.

Yeah you're right it is a bit of a grunt with concrete if you're on your own. The corner ones are stupidly heavy !

at least you wear a mask:

You can drill through the posts and bolt a piece of wood to them. The wood should fit in the gap.
