Fire, Security, Access control courses

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone can help me in recommendations on specific courses to do in the fire and security sector.I have been searching on the web and so far the FIA 3 day course looks like the best one in that field but what can anyone recommend on security systems and access control?

I also checked out the C & G 1853 course...is this any good? Any help will be much appreciated!
I am an electrician of 5 years but want to change careers..
