Hello,

I am having issues trying to find an industrial EPC assessor. The two assessors I have made contact with do not seem to know or experienced EPC's for the factory type of building that I am quoting to Solarise.

Are the EPCs for said buildings required to meet the level 'D' ?
Could anybody please recommend an assessor (level 4 I beleive) in Essex?

Thanks in anticipation of some wise helpful contributors!

My understanding is that they will need to achieve a D grade if there is heating or cooling in any part of the building supplied by the meter that the PV will be connected to. If there are multiple meters on the site and you are only going into one of them then this may make it cheaper for you.

You may find someone on the national register in your area https://www.ndepcregister.com/searchAssessor.html. I know a good one but he is Sheffield based.
