i have been to look at a small timber yard this morning with a small build ajoining the main building to look at some work her wants doing. the owner is looking to lease this ajoining building to a mechanic so a small garage mot center is going to be next door. the timber yard owner , owns the ajoining building.there are 2 250w son lighting, 5 13Amp 2 and sockets and 2- 3 phase sockets already installed in the unit he wants to let out.
he wants to let out the premise he wants to separate the supply from his business so they pay there own bills separately, so he has contacted his local supply telling of his plans.They have sent a form for him to fill in. The unit up for let is fed from a 18 way 3 phase board with 3 spare 3 phase cct's (or) 9 single phase cct's, he wants the unit seperating from his work shop and put on it's own 3phase board, thus being seperated from his timber yard.

instead of having a new supply installed by the local supply company could i install a electricity consumption meter in privately for him read so he could charge the new tenant for the electricity that the garage uses from the owners electricity. ????? you can in domestic situations ie; coin meters , card readers etc.????
