any recommendations on a box to join 10mm t&e to two 2.5 s.
basically 10mm is supply cable and 2.5 will be lollypop ring.
was thinking of a duel appliance plate unless anyone can think of something better.

cheers

Nick

anythng that can handle the current, cable sizes, and is compliant will do.you could get 1 x 10mm an 2 x 2.5mm into a single cooker outlet box. are you consicerting fusing down at this point?

Going to be a small utility ring with 3 FCU
and a double socket

Sometimes you see that arrangement with a 32A or 45A isolator switch joining the feed to the ring, say for a lab or classroom.

Or use something like the 60A junction boxes that have the double screws for less trouble longer term:

They are not maintenance free though, so still need to be accessible behind a cover or similar. Off hand don't think I have seen a MF box for 10mm cable.

It’s only 30 quid for an mcg garage board...
Incoming rcd with a 16 and 6 MCBs.
No hassle at all.

lollipop rings are unconventional, and may be confusing to future works.
