Hello folks,
I have a flexible light next to my armchair which I need to use when reading anything.

I suffer from Age Related Macular Degeneration and I am hoping that I may be able to improve the quality of light from this unit.

The light is currently fitted with a Dimmable G9 40W Bulb and I am thinking that I might benefit by changing it to an LED unit.

I am hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction as to what to purchase as an 'upgrade'

I would like the light to still be dimmable if possible.

Thanks for any help that may be offered.

I would do some checking on the websites aimed at people with poor eyesight and see what sort of thing they recommend. I'd guess probably a daylight type LED lamp would be best.

Thank you DPG. I had Daylight in mind as being the sort of thing that would help.

I will do a bit of mooching around. If I can source the right LED replacement bulb, I would prefer to do that rather than replace the whole light fitting as I do rather like it.

Thanks again.
