i have a megger mft and the earth fault none trip function has gone down . does anybody know if this in big job? new tester time? has anybody had similar problem? need to really phonerepair shop tommorrow if i remember. is there any good repair centres in the north west round manchester area?

hi rob it is the old 1502. just for doing the zs on the non trip setting. the readings are all over the place. never the same. i read that the machine sends current through bit by bit and apparantley its not doing it. dont know how true this is. just want it working again
 
Hi,

Can you not send the tester to megger for repair? Im sure there must be approved repairers out there.

I myself dont know of any as my company take care of all that but i know we do get testers repaired.

Is it deffo the tester then?you can send these to loads pf diferent places,google calibration and repair,cant say what it would cost though,when was the last time it was calibrated
