Hi Im considering buying a repossession and was wondering how much it would typically cost to move the main Incomer about a 3 foot. It currently comes out the floor in the kitchen and is about 20 cms off the floor level. Realise i cannot move it myself as it's non-contestable work.

Any thoughts or ideas how i can get it moved as safely, legal and cheaply as possible.

It depends whether the 1m is closer to or further from the point of entry (or run of cable).
Extending the cable is considerably more expensive than reducing the length.
The coming out of the kitchen floor does not sound cheap either, is the floor concrete?
