Is there such a thing? Customer has a PIR floodlight over his patio doors. It appears to be wired directly into a jb under the upstairs floorboards. In other words, permanently on. I pointed out to him that it ought to have an isolator, and he agrees but doesn't want floorboards up just for this. So is there some sort of relatively discrete isolator I can fit just above or below this light on the outside wall?

Put the light on a plug , or to a switched fused spur outlet in a IPX enclosure. All the leading brands do IPX units suitable for the job.

depends if it's wired from the lighting or the ring. if it's off the lighting circuit, all you need is an IP65 outside switch.
