Hi as in the title just after roughly what people are paying and what type of insurance they have if they only carry out work domestic properties.

I'm just looking into carrying out some extra work so don't need tool, van, personal cover etc etc.

Have you looked into this on line first? how much do you want? 1,2 or 5 or more in millions of pounds? I would suggest 2 Million which will be pretty cheap.

£130 for £5M Public Liability as the insurance companies I get work from and a care home i do the electrics for require it. I have also g0t £250k Professional indemnity on the same policy, it only added around £15 to the price.
Best thing about it was i got £35 cashback for going via quidco (real cost £95). So that could be worthwhile for you to look at. Year before last i got £80 cashback via axa business insurance so in real terms paid around £75.
