You would need a battery system to power the lights at night, batterys charged off the panels during the day. If the house is dark during the day then the solar systems would probably give enough power for the lights during the day but if you are using other appliances why would you need the lights to be fed separately? Any excess not required by the lights produced on bright days would go to run the other appliances.
