Would you put this as a code 4 on a pir? No steel conduit boxes have earth fly leads. By my understanding they all needs to be eartherd.

if the conduit is used as cpc, then the fly lead is to earth any accessory attached to the box. if there is a separate cpc conductor within the conduit,connected to the accessory, then no need for a fly lead.

i would say not myself personally id let it go the conduit itself acts as cpc as long as its tubed into db or earthed at board end

theres good continuity across all conduit runs and earthed at the DB end. And an seperate earth inside the conduit.

There is no requirement for this, telectrix hit the nail on the head in post #2, if there's a CPC in addition to the conduit then there is no need for a fly-lead.
