Hi king_11,
i'm on the last module now, "project" however I need to complete the last tma for plc's but have been waiting months for the college to send Ladsim to me! I wont be continuing after the hnc as i dont really need that level for my career
I found the subject matter easier because the tees modules are only 15 credits whereas my college modules were 20 and subsequently went deeper into the subject matter. The thing that i found harder was obviously time management and making time for studying, a choice you don't get when you have deadlines at college.
I'm an EC&I technician, ex military sparky. It can be done, just got to put the time in.
Planned maintenance, breakdowns and projects really, varying from HV breaker issues to 4-20mA instrumentation/DCS loops.
Good work!:teeth_smile:Well done sparky! I got my final result yesterday, project=distinction So thats me done, what a relief! PLC's is a good module but i had to wait about 4 months for the software for the practical and it came when i was really busy at work so just did the 2 programs to gain a pass but i would have liked to have completed the lot.
Stick at it, it's all down hill now
