Got 90% aswell surprised not as hard as I thought would be , the exercise questions from the tutor were harder

To be fair it has to be fresh in your mind, it is easy to get stale if you lose familiarity with the book and sections that your work does not require you to look up . Combined with the restructuring of the sections from past editions . Like all exams it requires effort and respect to achieve good results.

Some of the lads were saying there been kitchen fitters trying to take it on soon as they saw the exam there heads fell off

I’m due to sit it next week and there is no page tabs or highlights in the books allowed. Apparently “C&G has now changed to this”. Still not phased all the answers are at the finger tips

Yes , but you are a Trainee all of it will be fresh in your mind. You know the saying "use it or lose it"

I had to borrow a book from the exam centre, luckily it had some tabs and even some headings highlighted.
They also lent me a calculator, which unfortunately didn’t have the square root function.
Had to guess that question, which I’m pretty sure I guessed wrong.

I was going to book it via their website, but it didn’t tell me a date.
So I phoned them and they said, if I got there before 2:30, I could do the exam that day.
I passed with 90%.

I got 94%... but that's cos I had my own book AND a calculator.

There was one question there, that I still don’t know the answer to.
It was about what to consider when choosing a protective device.
Apart from the two obviously wrong answers, I was left with choosing between Over Voltage and Under Current.
I did actually get it right, but can’t remember which I chose.
