Sometimes it is a dirty job and someone has to do it! Amongst other things here you might just be able to see the sheath stripped back outside the junction box and I think the CPCs are twisted together outside the JB. I'll have to clean this up first to see what is going on here.

A friend of mine recently purchased a house with a Swimming pool AAAAH everybodies dream house ?
his wife ws less than pleased when I told her to get my team in and flatten it
if the bits I could see on a cursory examination were that bad imagine the bits I could not see
I was vindicated, it has now been named the house of horrors
the pump room should have a locked door to prevent access or tampering, it did not even have a door or door frame , and was readily accesible by the public and small children

gas pipe 28mm feeding pool alongside a 16mm supply for the shower block
PS the gas pipe had been run in concrete and had corroded away causing a permanent gas leak

I guess you knew the answer to that question before asking it ?
a massive no
they thought they would be spending around 5K smartening it up
over 40K later its a presentable and safe house
several people had pulled out of the sale, however it may just still be a bargain as no body wanted to touch it with a barge pole
these are just the bits I saw on my first visit, it gets worse
will post some more pics of my first visit late, lets just say it ended up with me severing the gas and electricity supplies top the property and a 5 page report !
