Indeed I could.
However I feel that if you need to ask this then perhaps you would be better getting someone in to do it for you in the interests of safety.
I agree with ot
With no electrical Quals, how much practical hands on, tool using skills do you have? normally putting a plug top on is something most householder should be able to do, this job however requires, from looking at it at least one specialist tool that house holders won't own, namely a crimp tool for the live connection, hence the reluctance to advise.Yeah but I took it apart some months ago and have now forgot how to wire it back up
especially without the cover on, unless he's a builder. And don't plug anything into it
Yes can already see arcing to the socket connections.the only thing wrong that i can see it that the thermal cut-out is by -passed. otherwise ot looks right, and make sure the cable clamp is tight when you've sorted the 2 browns out -- one to each side of the cut-out. it is a cheap and nasty reel however. and from the pics we can't appraise if the shutters are OK.
I'm afraid it isn't. You have bypassed a safety mechanism. This was a primary reason for me advising you to get someone who knows what he/she is doing. This looks correct
