Hi, I've sat my am2 practical today.
I have a question about the ring final circuit hopefully there is someone who can relate.

Is it crucial to wire the ring final a certain way? Ive bought 2 legs out, one goes into my closest socket which went down a bit of conduit and the other leg goes to my next closest on the ring which was my spur back out the supply of the spur to my next socket and then back down the tube to my first socket. My external socket went from my load side of the SFCU.

Given this rough drawing I've done which is similar to what was shown on my schedule would you know or think they will pull me up for it?

Thanks guys.

Not like any Ring FC I have seen, looks more like a Radial FC

I was just thinking if they were going to get picky with the way I have bought the 2 legs to my closest socket and SFCU on the ring, I didn't know if they wanted me to bring a leg to my closest socket then a leg to my furthest socket and wire back that way.

Just thought if there were someone who did the same thing as me and had no problems?

If you used 2.5 L +N and 1.5 earth as their spec it should be ok.
