Discuss Amplifier in the Home Media Centre Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

What are you trying to achieve....is it domestic, commercial, shop, factory...?....give information, you will get answers

For amateur use an amplifier rated at no more than the total power of connected speakers at the combined impedance of the speakers.
For professional use, mid-high speakers up to twice the total speaker power, low/sub up to 4x total speaker power.
But this can vary greatly depending on the type of music being played, headroom allows you to maintain clarity but at the risk of damaging speakers.
