cards like as safe?

If I got a petition started on the governments website to try to introduce individual grade and part p registrations much like gas safe so companies can't employ half wits and sign there work off, it would all fall down to the spark not the company, how many of you would sign it?

Most half wits are self employed as the big companies won't take them on or they get rumbled after a few weeks

Pretty pointless, seeing as the part Pee restrictions are due to be relaxed, to actually allow 3rd party sign-offs!! lol!! ...In fact the new rules make it almost pointless being part Pee registered for some!!

I did write more but it didnt come out lol.
I just think it would be a good idea as a company I know employs someone who is pretty much a glorified labourer. Never done a days college, don't think he knows what a regs book is and is on site changing consumer units etc and testing unsupervised and the customer is completely unawares

All he needs to do is a 5 week course!, he's probably had more experience than a lot of the recently qualified 'electricians' about lately

Trouble with that is there is non of their peers bright enough to be assessors, so you would be back to square one.
