Those isolators are not for DIY

As well as the proving dead, there will be torque settings required for tightening the terminal screws.
Too tight can be as bad as too loose
 
Unless you have the appropriate equipment to prove dead and know how to use it, I would take up the offer you have received here. In any case, this really requires an electrician.
No problem wasn't sure which was why I wanted to ask, I'm based in Crewe if anyone is free over the next few weeks and has a few spare mins to help me to disconnect the live wires and then I can plaster (which will take a few weeks)
