Quality DB change I come across this morning. Whoever done it has extended nearly every circuit with 15amp block including the ring final circuits. And look at the quality SWA termination in to the wiska box.

I apologize for the pics loading upside down.

What zone is that CU installed in ... ?

I like their style ... we talk about electrical ratings but ladders aren't rated for that ... I'm closing my eyes and waiting for the splash!

Metal CUs will put an end to that kind of work.

Some great pics Kamikaze ...just hoping these are not your back catalogue in disguise ;)

Nah…It’s not uncommon for me to go into a meltdown when confronted by a wonky socket. I’m too much of a goody goody for this kind of shenanigans. I do envy those with such creative minds and their ability to sleep at night. That’s why reading about their mini adventures on the forum is so enjoyable. It’s like being in the waiting room for hell….lol.

Nice earth connection on the same cable, was just shoved through a hole in the bottom of the mcc.

the old twist and tape then?

Whoever had done it had just splayed the cores and pushed them together. I think you'd struggle to twist 70mm

The solder that made the connection has evaporated guv lol

Not going to pull down anymore cables then in that wall .
Not a problem SSE, just use some mini trunking lid...........Of course it's not allowed now! lol

Kamikaze, stop posting up pics of your own installs. I'll tell Tony Cable about you!?!?!? (good to see that we are on the same wave length still  ).

I’ve got a condition that prevented me from moving the socket out of the shower area. It’s called not giving a ****.
