EDT are currently working with an ACT based organisation that are looking for (2) Electrical Standards Engineers to join them on a permanent basis.
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement changes to standards for a technical plant that supports the companies strategic intent of regulatory compliance, and commercial excellence.
Standards may include Standard Designs and Drawings, Materials Standards, Unit Assemblies and high-level Work Practices.
Some of the technical duties may include some of the following:
• Assist with the development of strategies, policies and standards, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, for the Distribution system application
• Establish and maintain technical standards
• Develop / implement and maintain standard drawings.
• Evaluate tenders according to standards
• Maintain drawing register
Qualifications / Education
• Post graduate qualifications in engineering or similar preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of electricity distribution networks and their associated systems and components
