Hello all- hopefully this is the correct place to get help.

My electricity bill has been almost 50 percent higher than the previous year. I have a storage heater which as a fused switch (with a led) for both on and off peak heating.

I noticed today that both the on and off peak lights are on which doesn't make sense to me and the off peak heater is turned on throughout the day. Clearly this is the reason the daytime power usage has shot up.

Is this an issue with the supplier or the Economy 7 meter itself. Who is responsible for fixing this.

If this is a fault of the meter is there any way to claim back some of my bill from my previous provider. Switched a few days ago.
Thanks

Have a look carefully at your bills first and see if you are being charged a high and low rate.
