Discuss Good Morning Thread - Come say good morning, tell us what you've got on today. :) in the The Exchange area at ElectriciansForums.net

We have this thread on TilersForums.com and it's just been restarted because the old thread had 20,000 replies and 500,000 views. And there were 700 pages. Started to lag a bit on slow connections.

I think we had a bash of this before, but I can't find the thread, so thought I'd start another one off.

If you have time in the mornings, come post in the thread before you head off to work, let us know what you've got on and what the weather is like in your area etc. Anything at all is fine. :)

Posts and likes get counted towards your total stats in this thread.

So GOOOD MORNING PEOPLE - WEATHER IS NICE TODAY IN STOKE. I'M THANKFUL IT'S FRIDAY, HAD A RUBBISH WEEK. THANK GOD IT'S OVER.

Not as effective as I would have liked this morning.

Now the sun is out. Maybe I should cut my hours to just between 10 and 2 in the winter months. Anything outside those times are out of hours call out charges
Sounds like a good idea lol. It is clear skies here but super cold, I have a blanket on me and I am never cold!

Q: can I disable the notification that keeps asking me to accept push notifications?
Think I saw that recently too , when my browser broke its-self !
(in the name of improved security - it wants more details !)
.. Its definitly stored in a cookie , so maybe your blocking / crushing it
(I'm on PC - hope phone is same)
What have I been doing ... Wasting time with NEW software ..bp+

Happy Tuesday everyone.
Site visits all day to see various customers but got breakfast first with my wholesaler, his treat.

Good morning everyone!
Minus 3 here, so quite chilly. Had an errand to do locally, decided to walk so I didn't wake the neighbours starting car, scraping windscreen etc at 6am...back home by 7, and heading out again at 8 to the Post Office to send my PA Tester off for calibration, then to local cafe for a big breakfast...probably Eggs Royale.

Later, a couple of jobs for a new neighbour, including removing what at first sight appeared to be a widowmaker...bell wire from behind a surface socket, wedged under the carpet strip, extended by some flex with 2 choc blocs, and terminating in a 13A plug...it's not live, but need to find out wtf it's for, and remove it.
The place is full of odd wiring, so should keep me busy/amused/horrified for a while!

I have all of that but with no whiskey. Couple of coughs too not just the one lol

That’s probably a good idea. I‘ve gloves that are ok if you keep them on and don’t get too wet, but that's not always possible.
gloves are for wimps or surgeons. man up. can always thaw mitts out with a hot coffee mug.

Wasn’t cold where I was, I was sweating bucket loads on my 2391-52 practical exam this morning.

Just the 2 hour 60 questions left tomorrow, should be all good hopefully. ??

Currently trying to get six firework displays loaded in to vans, crews organised, briefed and despatched to their various jobs.

Then later I'll be setting up/supervising one of those six displays.

After that the real fun starts, packing it all up and unloading six vans full of dirty smelly equipment, cleaning it and putting it away.

If we could just move firework season into the summer months it would make it a lot nicer!
Still doing the fireworks then Dave.
