We have this thread on TilersForums.com and it's just been restarted because the old thread had 20,000 replies and 500,000 views. And there were 700 pages. Started to lag a bit on slow connections.

I think we had a bash of this before, but I can't find the thread, so thought I'd start another one off.

If you have time in the mornings, come post in the thread before you head off to work, let us know what you've got on and what the weather is like in your area etc. Anything at all is fine. :)

Posts and likes get counted towards your total stats in this thread.

So GOOOD MORNING PEOPLE - WEATHER IS NICE TODAY IN STOKE. I'M THANKFUL IT'S FRIDAY, HAD A RUBBISH WEEK. THANK GOD IT'S OVER.

Wow the amount of devastation is amazing I remember Edinburgh being much more built up than that, even the castle has gone, I used to go to Prince's street once a month for four years and our meeting room looked over the castle, I loved the different colour narrow high rise buildings on the left.

New tech and fat fingers…..

Yesterday was the day that no3 got to choose her classes for university. So many for her actual course, and so many elective classes to make up 120 credits across 2 semesters.

The service opened at 9am, and everybody must have been trying to get on at the same time…. Responses on the website were slow. Buffering for some minutes at a time.

She got through her compulsory in about half an hour… the little spinning wheel on screen between every click of the mouse. She got her 120 and was looking on screen for the “save” or “confirm” button.

Helpful as ever, I pointed to the big “continue” button on the screen.

Except, I forgot this was her new laptop, with the fancy touchscreen…. And I hadn’t touched the “continue” button. ….

I accidentally touched the “cancel” button next to it.

Whoops.

Did it come up with “are you sure?” ……. Did it heck.
It wiped everything and she had to start again.

I then left the house.

It took over 3 hours in the end…. And she got kicked off the system about 7 times afterwards…. Just by the system crashing at the uni end.
But it’s all done now. And it wasn’t all my fault.

You now have a reputation that can never be redeemed by any future action or bribe, not even a car will help. 😱

Brand new laptop as an early 18th/ getting into uni present is enough. Sh'es got use of a car already, just no effort to take another test.

Just finished for the day. Been working on a transformer that's only 5 years younger than me. Got a drive to Harlow now ready for tomorrow.
