Hi,

Just a quick one. I am looking to buy sone electrical items from Germany and I just want to check they will work in UK. I know I'll have to change plug but is that my only concern. Germany is 220v and 50hz and Uk is 230v and 50hz. Item electrical information is as follows

Energy consumption: max. 28 W.
Power supply unit: 100-240 V / 50-60 Hz.

Am I right in saying that it will be ok??

Not great with electrics so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, it should work fine if you put an appropriate plug on it. Same with stuff here in South Africa, we also have 220v and our electrical items work fine in the UK and vice versa..

I thought the reason we now have 230 volts (ha ha ha) was to harmonise with Europe, or some of it. Anyway as long as the supply requirements go up to 240 volts 50 hz you should be fine to use the kit in UK.
