i have read that the above plate is suitable for adding a hardwired cable of 4mm for the 6kw hob and 2nd cable to a separate socket for the plug in oven which is 2450w, 13amp. do i use 4mm cable from above easyfit plate to the 13amp socket.? help is appreciated. tony 2
 
You have not said what size cable is feeding this plate or size of MCB.

Dam why have i never heard of this plate? Probably because i use Edmundsons!

Just a word of warning - these plates are a bit thicker than standard cooker outlets and sometimes stop the oven from fitting in the housing properly! They`re about 25mm IIRC
