Presumably it's one of these? - Philips Hue Outdoor Lighting - (assuming UK based?)

Pics would certainly help - but the first relevant questions are:

1. Is there enough wire from the case to potentially connect to a junction box, or is it cut right next to the casing?
2. Is it a fitting with LED built in or takes a hue bulb? Where is the fitting fed from? (It will be important to know whether it's mains voltage or low voltage at the point of cut.)

My suspicions are that the light fitting won't be designed to come apart so it may be pot luck whether it can be done in a way that can safely be put back together again.

Some quick research suggests that the cable to these lights is 24V, fed from a transformer/driver - though it uses its own connector rather than the most common standard type.

If there is enough cable left from the lamp (3 inches + perhaps) then a suitable waterproof junction box or cable joiner could be used to rejoin the cable to the original one - or to a new one.

I don't know of a good brand available in US so don't want to recommend one by name, but this sort of connector might work:

Though it will depend on having several inches still accessible.

If not, then in a well designed world, the end of the tube where the cable connects would unscrew and you could re terminate the cable, but knowing Philips I doubt it will be that easy - but worth a try. It might be sealed so might need a decent clamp or grip to get it to turn...

Otherwise, it does appear that you can buy single light fittings to replace the damaged one - though they seem to be out of stock at Amazon at the moment.

I have some of these that have been installed for a couple of years.
The information stamped on the bottom of each light includes the fact that the LED's are not replaceable.
They are solidly made (feels like metal?!) with lines in the casing that suggest how they went together, but I don't think they can be disassembled. Having the Zigbee/wi-fi module inside they need to be well sealed, and I think that would be difficult to maintain even if you could manage to break into one.

If there's not enough lead left externally to make a connection, I think you (or the landscaper!) will need to buy a replacement.

There's very small resin joints available here for use with cabtyre trailing cable, I'm sure you'll have something similar in the UK. They're very handy and they'll work as long as you've got 2 inches of good cable to work with left on the spotlight. Once it's resin filled it's guaranteed it will never leak unlike some of the similar inline joints that rely on o-rings and rubber washers to make the seal. The obvious downside is that it's permanent and non-acessible again in the future.
