Led lamp for garden lamp post.

Anyone recommend an led lamp that would give a decent output for garden lamp posts. A decent cfl would be acceptable. IS there anything else i could consider? either ES or BC

Phillips do a good LED BC and ES.

Believe it or not Tesco sell them at a good price.

It depends how bright you want it though. CFL or LED wont be as bright as an incandescent or halogen.

I need something reasonably bright. The client wants low energy so incandescent / halogen is out of the question.

have a look at Fusion LED's they make ones designed for exterior lighting Bollards and lamp posts, there's one I was looking at which has about 180 surface mount LED's on it...

These should do you, about a 60W eq. lamp but a bit big is you have small fittings
