Locked cells on Excel spreadsheet

This is great. My son was set some homework and it was on an excel spreadsheet. Out of the 20 questions one of the "locked" cells has the incorrect format so its impossible to "display" the correct answer.

At parents evening last night I asked his teacher about this and she admitted that they haven't got the password as the teacher who created the homework has left.

So has anyone got any "tools" to unlock excel?

I've looked on line and could buy something but to be honest would prefer not to spend any money.

I can't copy - the spreadsheet won't let me!
