Discuss Price rewire 3 bed (customer to chase) in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

we were discussing the of the perils of letting the customer doing the chasing himself and leaving a dirty great hole in the wall with nothing to fix a socket box too
EXACTLY and there's been replies suggesting the use of non recognised fixings and non standard techniques, tut, tut. What have you guys got on your boots? Spurs or FCUs lol.

Decent splurge of bonding coat when the wall has disappeared. Or sky hooks.

don't mention spurs when IQ's about. he's an arsenal fan.

you should run your smokes off a lighting circuit.that way if the rcbo for the smokes trips the client might not twig and take the battery out when the smoke head "bleeps" leaving them with no smoke detection at all. if the lights trip they are bound to notice and do something about it!!.

Best to take it from lighting circuit, this means the customer cannot switch them of re false alarms, or frying mushrooms. without losing lighting and calling sparks to sort problem
