Just found out I can't use the PM feature because of the ball-ache otherwise known as Capcha.

Type the message, click "post" Capcha pops up, struggle to understand what it's supposed to be, type in what it says, press the green "tick" and the whole ****in' screen goes blank and freezes!!!

Bloody ridiculous - and annoying!!!

I must admit I don't have to use the capcha at all on here.

Why is it even used for PM's ?

Without descending into paranoia perhaps one of the admins could enlighten you.

It seems strange that you would have to use capcha when others don't.

Unless your posts are being flagged as spam :P

I hardly use the PM facility, but tonight needed to and I couldn't. It did work a bit later on though, but I don't understand the need for this bloody nuisance Capcha thing for a PM.

Whats capcha?

Instead of backing it off why not change it a little. All new sign ups get a capcha to prove they're not part of a bot net and once that's proven that's the end of it.

You'll notice that one is easy to read and decipher ... the three in a row that I got were not!!

There you go ... a bit of good sound common sense from a Geordie - as usual.

How and why we aren't a world power by now I'll never understand. ;)
