i am going to be testing a commercial building to provide them with a PIR. i went to look at the site today, they have:
8 x 12 way single phase consumer units, as well as 2 x MEM 100a isolators, 1x MEM 200a isolator, 1 x MEM 63a isolator.

i have never priced a testing job of this size before and would like some guidance, as to what the average price would be for the job, and whether to price it as a total, or a price per board....etc

Price it per circuit is what i do. £25.00 per circuit I would say is the average rate.

are you doing a % sampling or testing every circuit fully? how difficult is it to isolate/shut down to test?. either price per circuit or estimate the hours taken. if you have to go after hours, add 50% to your time. anywhere between £10 and £20 per circuit. depends on what the client will stand for.

no it is a full test of every circuit for a full PIR. most of the circuits seem easy to isolate & test, however there are some that might take more investigation. and yeah it is after hours. i like the idea of testing per circuit, thanks!
